Overview

Pariveda is seeking a Data Developer in its Internal IT department to play a key role in developing and maintaining Pariveda’s enterprise data and reports. In this role, you will work with business leaders to create solutions that improve visibility into Pariveda’s operations so informed decisions are made.

You Can Expect To:

As a Data Developer in Dallas, you can expect to:  

  • Design and implement new features and enhancements to the existing ETL routines responsible for loading data from the sources systems into the Data Warehouse and Data Lake
  • Using AWS NodeJS Lambda functions associated with our data lake, develop automations to integrate data between enterprise systems
  • Model and manipulate data to be consumed by the Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Qlik Cloud
  • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot new and existing reports and metrics using Qlik Sense
  • As the need arises, explore different technologies and languages, developing custom front- and back-end applications, using DevOps and continuous integration and modern frameworks like React, REST, and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and vision, collecting and analyzing requirements and adapting as needed to shifting business demands
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions to meet the business objectives
  • Create and present findings, solutions, and demos to audiences including senior executives and stakeholders

We Look For:

A successful candidate possesses the following critical qualifications:

  • Passionate coder with 1-5 years of application development experience
  • Experience with:
    • AWS Lambda, S3, and Cloud Formation, or comparable Azure services
    • JavaScript and/or NodeJS
    • Microsoft SQL Server and/or relational databases
    • Data visualization tools
    • Solution design and development using BI theories & best practices
    • Data access through APIs
    • Qlik, data warehousing, and/or DevOps (Git, CI/CD) is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong command of ratios and proportions
  • Ability to be a self-starter and learn new systems
  • Innate curiosity to learn, solve problems, think creatively, and adapt to new challenges   
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable experience
  • Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship
